Lexel believes we have a responsibility to give back to our local communities. Every year we look at how we can give back to the community that we live and work in, and look at opportunities for the business and staff to support local schools, groups, clubs, or community programs that benefit us all.

Special Children's Christmas Party Sponsorship
Lexel supports the Special Children's Christmas Parties. These events have been created to provide 2,000 very deserving children in our community an experience that they will never forget.
The children invited will be suffering from either a life threatening illness, physical and intellectual impairment, domestic violence or living in underprivileged circumstances.
These very worthy events treat the children to a day of celebrity stage shows, games, yummy food, treats and of course a visit by Santa with presents.
Lexel supports Oxfam Trailwalkers
Lexel wholeheartedly supports bringing communities together for a commendable cause. This year the Oxfam Foundation held a trailwalker event to raise funds to create a safer, fairer world where all people can enjoy a life of hope and opportunity, free from poverty and suffering.
Each team that entered into the 100km walk (within 36 hours) needed to raise a minimum of $2500 to support Oxfam. The New Zealand Herald released a story covering the event and described it as a very successful fundraiser with everyone having the right to the essentials in life - clean water, food, shelter, sanitation, healthcare and education.
Lexels sponsorship of the event was a great way to reward outstanding effort and dedication, helping people address the root causes of poverty, and to share in a worthy experience.
Saint Kentigern 1st XV Rugby Team Sponsorship
Lexel supports the Saint Kentigern 1st XV Rugby Team. This talented young team has recently been crowned world champions after a convincing 40-8 win against the tournament favourite, Hartpury College from England in the final.
Lexel feel that this was a great way to support the community and enjoy the opportunity to share in their successes.
Hockey Champions Trophy
Lexel
worked with FX Networks to provide vital communication links to support the Owen G Glenn FIH Champions Trophy. The event was hosted by Hockey New Zealand and held at the North Harbour Hockey Stadium in Auckland, and the tournament included 24 international team matches played over six days.
