New Zealand's largest privately owned ICT integrator, Lexel Systems, has added the full Advanced Unified Communications certification to their premier partner status with Cisco.

Lexel has achieved accreditation in Cisco's networking, security and unified communications solutions enabling it to offer advanced networking and voice solutions alongside its existing infrastructure services.

"We are delighted to be able to give our customers a full unified communications and networking offering," says Lexel CEO, Noel Simpson.

"Our accreditation validates the skills and qualifications of our people who have always been strong in traditional networking, but now have the unified communications and wireless expertise to be able offer our customers a seamless UC and networking solution."

"’We see the Cisco accreditation as the industry benchmark in unified communications and wireless networking. We are excited by the opportunities that being a full service end-to-end integrator, backed by Cisco, offers our customer and the market."

Cisco NZ Regional Manager, Jennifer Rutherford, congratulated Lexel on achieving this global recognition of their capabilities.

"Lexel is a great New Zealand success story. Their accreditation means they have met the stringent requirements that Cisco globally would expect of any partner integrator," says Rutherford.

"What's particularly exciting about Lexel's achievement is that typically the Cisco Advanced UC solution offering is made by multinational Integrator partners much larger than Lexel. Their accreditation means their customers, who already appreciate working with a local, flexible but equally capable integrator, can now draw on the full skill set of the end-to-end integrator that already supports them."

Lexel, formerly known as Computer Brokers, was established in 1987 and employs more than 140 people nationally. As New Zealand’s largest privately owned integrator, it is a technology infrastructure solutions provider, encompassing consulting, design, procurement, implementation and support services.
