Lexel Systems becomes Finalist in North Auckland Business AwardsAuckland, 21st July 2011

New Zealand's largest privately owned ICT integrator, Lexel Systems, has been selected as a Finalist for the 2011 Westpac Auckland North Business Awards in the 'Mitre 10 - Excellence in Service Delivery' category.

Lexel was one of 156 applicants across all categories, with the 'Mitre 10 - Excellence in Service Delivery' category receiving the most entries. The winner will be selected and presented their award at the Gala dinner on Friday 2nd September 2011.

"The team at Lexel are very pleased to be a finalist in the awards. We decided to submit our entry under the 'Mitre 10 - Excellence in Service Delivery' category, as our entire business is focused around this key area. In fact, the word Lexel is based upon the word Excellence, an attribute which is totally engrained within the business," says Lexel CEO, Noel Simpson.

Simpson continues to say: "Although our response was written from the greater business, which includes technology infrastructure solutions, consulting, design, procurement, implementation and support services, we focused on our Project Services division, a team of about 60x people and growing, which provides Business Analysts and Project Managers to corporates. The review panel took particular interest in our unique and trademarked VBRS system. VBRS allows customers to pay Lexel, based upon a score that they give us each month, and something that is also directly linked to our staff's remuneration so there is complete alignment. It's also supported by a comprehensive web portal for customers scoring and reporting purposes."

Lexel, formerly known as Computer Brokers, was established in 1987 and employs more than 140 people nationally. Lexel is New Zealand's largest privately owned ICT integrator and provides technology infrastructure solutions including: consulting, design, implementation, outsourcing, project management, business analysis, procurement and support services.
