Lexel appointed to NZ Defence Force ICT Services Panel
Wellington, June 9th 2010
Lexel Systems has been successfully selected as part of the NZ Defence Forces ICT Services Panel RFP process. Lexel has been awarded a 3+1+1 year contract for the supply of ICT Implementation and Engineering Support to NZ Defence Force. The contract is also a syndicated contract, and as such also available to all other government departments.
NZDF's stated primary purpose of the ICT Services Panel is to 'engage a panel of suppliers to deliver Information Communication Technology (ICT) contracting Services to NZ Defence Force'. This is in conjunction with initiatives within NZDF to 'create a leaner organisation and which is more efficient and effective'. The contract is part of a key NZ Defence Force end goal to ensure that NZ Defence Force can deliver more military capability from every dollar spent.
Lexel Systems CEO Noel Simpson says "We're very pleased at being
selected as part of the NZDF ICT Services Panel. With over 100 staff,
Lexel look forward to leveraging our 15 years' experience in working
with NZDF and delivering to the new unified organisation that it has
become. Lexel's Professional Services and Project Services are capable,
willing, and ideally suited to the NZDF's enterprise skillset and
outcome based needs."
