Non-profit price increase

 

Microsoft have announced a price increase to five Microsoft 365 non-profit subscriptions from 1 September 2022 (a similar increase was applied to the commercial pricelist in March 2022):

 

  • Office 365 E1, E3, E5
  • Microsoft 365 E3, Business Premium

SQL Server 2012 End of Support – 3 months away

 

SQL Server 2012 reaches end of support on 12 July 2022 at which point security patches will cease being issued. To avoid security breaches the options are:

  • Upgrade to SQL 2019 (or 2016)
  • Purchase Extended Security Updates (Enterprise Agreement customers only)
  • Move VM to Azure – free security patches

SQL Server 2022 is nearing public preview release and will be here later in 2022.

Veeam

 

 

 

Veeam price increase 1 April 2022

 

We received word late March that Veeam were increasing the prices of the below products effective 1 April 2022:

 

  • Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 – 6.25%
  • Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator (standalone purchase) – 9.67%
  • DR Pack (Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator purchased alongside Veeam Backup & Replicationâ„¢) – 9.67%
