On the 11th October 2018, Lexel invited customers to an information workshop regarding the new HP DaaS (Device as a Service) solution. This was jointly hosted by Lexel and HP at the Harbourside Restaurant.
HP’s David Adams discussed the benefits of DaaS over the traditional device procurement and support model, and how DaaS coincided nicely with Microsoft’s own new generation desktop licensing and application management offering.
In summary, DaaS offers a more cost effective and flexible solution for customers. The solution covers the full range of compute devices, from tablets through to POS devices and is bundled with analytics that detect device health and workload profile. The agreements are scalable and allow flexing up or down to meet the ever changing needs of the customers’ business.
